Help for your city
Nile Rise support
Something not quite right along the Nile? Tell us what happened.
Include your game version, iPhone model, and what you were doing when the problem happened. A screenshot can help, but it is optional.
You can find the version under About & privacy in the game. Its Send feedback option lets you review the details before sharing them. Nothing is sent automatically.
Protect your city
Please don't delete the app to troubleshoot a save. Deleting Nile Rise removes its local settlements and settings.
If a settlement won't open
Retry, restore an available last good backup, or return to the menu. Restoring a backup may lose your most recent progress. Starting a new settlement replaces the selected slot after confirmation; your other settlements remain separate.
If saving fails
Keep the game open, make room on your iPhone if necessary, then try saving again. Contact us if it still fails.
Keeping an extra copy
Use the game's city export to save a copy in Files. Keep it somewhere you can find again. An export is a snapshot, not automatic cloud synchronization.
Common questions
Where is my city stored?
Settlements and settings stay on your device. iOS may include them in device backups, depending on your Apple settings. Nile Rise does not provide its own cloud synchronization.
Why did the music stop after using headphones?
Disconnecting headphones pauses game audio to avoid unexpected speaker playback. Open Map controls or Music & sound and choose Resume sound. Check Silent mode and your volume if the speaker is still quiet. If it doesn't recover, tell us your game version and the headphones you used.
Can I send a suggestion?
Yes. Email us or use Send feedback in the game. Tell us what you wanted to do and what got in the way. You don't need to send your city file or any personal information beyond what you choose to share.
