The game
Nile Rise does not automatically collect or transmit your gameplay data to Skirnir Studios. The game has no account system, advertising trackers, or third-party analytics service.
Settlements and backups
Settlements, earned building blueprints, names you enter, and settings are stored locally on your device. The game keeps a local backup for save recovery. iOS may include app data in device backups according to your Apple settings; Nile Rise does not provide its own cloud synchronization.
Support and feedback
Support is optional. If you email us, Skirnir Studios receives the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send through our Gmail support mailbox. We use them to answer your request and investigate problems. We keep support messages only as needed for those purposes; you can ask us to delete your correspondence by emailing the same address.
The feedback form previews optional game details: app version, device type, iOS version and, while playing, era, year, season, population and building count. You can exclude these details and optionally attach a current city image. Reports never include save files, unique device identifiers or background logs. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it through Mail or another sharing app. Copy report text only writes your chosen text to the system clipboard.
External services
Historical reading links open external websites when you choose them. Those websites and your email provider follow their own privacy policies. The game does not automatically send them your settlement data.
Apple handles App Store purchases and any platform diagnostics you choose to share under Apple's terms and device settings. Skirnir Studios does not receive your payment-card details from the game.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes its local settlements and settings. Device backups are managed separately through your Apple settings. For privacy questions or support-message deletion requests, contact nilerisemobilegame@gmail.com.
This website
The Skirnir Studios website, including these Nile Rise pages, is separate from the game. We have not added analytics, advertising, contact forms, or visitor accounts. Its images and font are served with the site; it does not load third-party font services.
The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites. The hosting provider receives technical information needed to deliver and protect the pages, such as your IP address and browser request information. See OpenAI's privacy policy for its privacy practices.
The hosting platform also uses Cloudflare security services, which may run security checks and set cookies such as __cf_bm to protect against automated abuse. See Cloudflare's cookie information. These hosting protections are separate from the game. Email links open your chosen email app; sending a message is your choice.
